Welcome. Firstly it is quite easy to make your number appear in the 'MY NUMBER display'. Go into the Options menu on your handheld and then select SIM Card. Add your correct number in the Phone Number Field.

Secondly, I am quite sure that it is not possible to use the BlackBerry Internet Service (email and internet facility) when on a pay as you go setup. I have an o2 monthly contract and in addition to this I have had to purchase a BlackBerry package from o2 for £15pm. You are then able to use the o2 BIS website where you can send a service book to your handheld that will add the icons etc.

Hope this helps.
Matt
