Default 7100g on Cingular - problem with service

Please Login to Remove!

I am a Blackberry user and have previously used one with Verizon for a couple of years. 10 days ago I switched to Cingular for 2 reasons - 1 - expanded data coverage, 2 - I wanted the 7100g. Since switching to Cingular people tell me that I frequently sound muffled or like I am driving in a convertable with my top down. This does not happen all the time. Has anyone else experienced this on Cingular?

One of the most difficult-to-please VPs at my company has a 7100g on Cingular and hasn't mentioned that issue before (knock on wood).

Maybe you could try swapping to another 7100g before your 30-day trial is up?

That is good to know that he is happy since I had a lot of trouble on RT 64 outside of Va Beach the other day. I plan to swap the phone and see what happens.

I have a 7100 with Cingular and have noticed the same problem. This is especially bad when I'm in the car, or in an area with some background noise.
