Default Few things I need to figure out - 09-16-2004, 11:20 PM

1) How do I fully stop using BWC? I am currently with myblackberry.us, but I can not figure it out to save my soul.

2) How do I sync my contacts, calendar, notes, etc etc wirelessly?

3) How do I set up to get my pop work email pulled via myblackberry.us?

I can not seem to figure any of this out. myblackberry.us said to delete all webclient service books, so I have, and still am lost from there. I send an email it goes fine, I can't receive work email however, unless it's forwarded to my @carrier.blackberry.net address. The only email that is forwarded is my part time ambulance job, my full time sales job doesn't allow forwarding so I must pull it using BWC, but without service books that messes things up. Anyone have any answers to the above? I'm in urgent need, if I can't figure this out, I can't justify the need for the MDS.

check your service books (Settings/Service Books) and see if you have an IPPP desktop service book. You'll need to connect your BB to a computer on the company intranet.

I don't have IPPP service book. Your post confussed me even more :( Why do I need to connect my computer to my companies intranet? I'm not trying to access my intranet, I can't access my intranet, not even at home, it's tighter then fort knox during a gold rush.

I found out myblackberry.us doesn't support pop email, but I can still use BWC, so no problem there. I still haven't a clue how to sync my calendar wirelessly. I followed their how to to the point without any problems, got it set up on my computers end. Do I need to leave the redirector running on my computer?! That's pretty much my only concern left that I can't get an answer to. Oh and does anyone that uses myblackberry.us know how to set up a reply to address?

thanks in advance.

well I hope you got that working by now, but if not, you can try this:

Usually that error is caused by outlook not setup properly, go to Control Panel > Mail > View or Change acct > you should see your account listed there, below that in the same pane you should see “ deliver incoming mail to” which should say “MailBox – Your name”. Additionally verify that you only have “Sync PIM” selected in the desktop manager.

Once this is complete try resyncing again.
