Exclamation Two BB's on same BES

Please Login to Remove!

Does a BES with Microsoft Outlook allow someone to have E Mail pushed to two separate BB's? Also will I have to load desktop manager on two separate computers to sync? Or sync one wireless or both wireless?

You can sync two BBs with a BES based Outlook account, but at least one will have to be wired. Only one can be wireless. Too, only one of the devices can get the e-mail from the account, not both.

My wife and I successfully synchronized our calendar and contact data on our BBs until she switched to the darkside of the Treo. I was wireless and she used the USB cable. (The BES account was mine; the e-mail was delivered to my BB.)

In answer to your first question, the answer is simply no. You can NOT wirelessly sync two BB's to one BES account (which is what you're asking to do).

gdpmumin is kind of correct that you could have one BB sync wirelessly to BES and another sync wired, however, for the wired one you would have to set up Desktop Manager in BES/Desktop Redirector mode and (obviously) wireless syncing would not be possible for anything other than email and calendar - AND that would require that the Desktop Redirector be running.

We had a user that "had" to have two BlackBerries - although at least one only needed email. We set up a rule on her primary BlackBerry email account to automatically forward to another Exchange email account which was set up for the second BB.

One BlackBerry - one Exchange account. Full stop!!

BIS, Redirector, that's another matter, but it's no go with Exchange.

Thanks!! I appreciate all the input and answers to my question. I went ahead and added my Outllok mail account to my BIS account through SoLinc....I back up my main BB and transfer to secondary BB.
