Default Everything was working till...

Please Login to Remove!

well everything was working execpt for the calendar was syncing from outlook to the BB but not the other way around. So i looked up a KB article and went through it and the only thing that i changed was the services for BES I changed all of them to log on as the BESadmin that i created for the setup. They all were set to the administrator account but the article said it needed to be the account you created during install.
Was this correct?
Right now i am not getting any updates. I have restarted the server since i did that change. Should i change it back to the administrator account. Atleast i will be getting my sync except for the BB to Outlook
I just looked in the event viewer and i have a bunch of: (which started after i changed it)

You need to take a good look at how you set this one up. If you have a BESAdmin account and you installed with that BESAdmin account it's unusual that the services aren't using the BESAdmin by default. All services should use the BESAdmin with the exception of the Attchment Service which uses the local system account and the Database Consistency service which should be disabled.

Check the permissions of your BESAdmin and also make sure those permissions are being inherrited by the users mailboxes.

Default I didn't understand

When i installed the program i didn't log out and login as the BESadmin. I just stayed in Administrator account. But durning the install i think it asked for the user account and i put BESadmin. Do i need to redue this install?

I don't know the answer to this one as I've never done what you did but try the least drastic first, try a repair of the installation logged on as the BESAdmin perhaps, other than that reinstall if you can. Unchartered waters for me on this one, maybe for others it's not.

Exclamation I think we have the same issue

My issue was similar. I couldn't get 2 way traffic with calendar entries. I was told by BB support that I needed the Exchange 2003 System Manager Tools installed on my BBES.

Turns out, when that was done i recieved many more problems with not being able to see the users list from Active Directory. But, i had the same issue in Outlook profiles creations. So, I opened Outlook to find that it said a program was recently installed that was conficting "would you like Outlook to fix it?"

So, when I clicked yes the BBES was working again. Further digging found that this was tied to a MAPI32.dll issue of sorts. I guess Outlook replaced the file or something.

Anyway, look into MAPI32.dll issues.

Good luck.
