Default Change the From Address Character Encoding

Please Login to Remove!

I am using the BIS service. When I send emails from my BlackBerry, the From: field in the message source has, instead of my name, jibberish that starts with "=?UTF-8?, which appears to be the UTF encoding of my name. The email client displays my name properly, but I'm concerned some filters will treat it as junk email. Is it possible to change some setting, such as the character encoding, so the From address will show my name instead of the UTF jibberish?

Thanks for reading.

It is not possible. New blackberries appear to be UTF-only, even when they are used to send plain ASCII emails.
