| I have 2 free Yahoo accounts. One works, the other used to but now fails to send. Both receive fine.
The bounced messages are X'd out within about 5 seconds of a send. The Message Status is "Message included an invalid address." Messages were successfully sent to the same address via Blackberry from the other Yahoo account.
Also, I previously could not edit the bad Yahoo account info on the T-Mobile BIS interface.
Prompted by your question, I deleted the account on the T-Mobile BIS interface and re-created it.
1. Using the account E-Mail the same as the User ID, it works.
2. If I change the E-Mail address to something different than the User ID, it fails (this used to work).
3. I changed the E-Mail address back to the User ID, but changed the "Your Name" field to show alternative addresses, it works.
Problem solved.
Lesson -- at least on T-Mobile's Yahoo BIS, the User ID field must now match the E-Mail address field. |
