Default Cingular@blackberry.net not forward mail

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings all. I am new to the forum, in the short time here, I have learned so much more then I thought I knew about my blackberry.

Anyway here is my issue and am hoping that somebody can point me in the correct direction to resolve. I use mycingular.blackberry.net to push mail from a couple of different email accounts. As of the last three days the web client does not push anything to my blackberry. I have reset the unit, and reset the unit to the network (Cingular/ATT) and still have the issue. I have sent test message from each of the clients and they do show up in the inbox on the webclient, just don't get pushed to the blackberry

I have checked the webclient inbox and deleted all the mail in there. Also for what it is worth I use the BES option to get my corporate email and that works great..

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Kurt

Are you able to send e-mail from your blackberry? Have you verified that the PIN associated with your BWC is still correct?

I just sent a email from the unit and its being sent from by corporate email account, (BES) so I am not sure if that is the problem, I also just tried to go into the webclient and can't connect thru that to check the pin is associated..

I guess this sounds very simple, but am I missing something?

Thanks

When you are writing the message, you should have a choice in the menu to choose where you are sending it from. Make sure that you have the web client as a choice (I don't have BES so I'm not sure of the exact wording).

If I understood correctly, you couldn't get into the web client? Were you trying on yoru blackberry or PC? In the web client from your PC, go to the "Profile" section and try two things:

1) Click the "Send Service Book" button. You should see your Blackberry respond to that within a few seconds. Try to receive e-mail on the device again.

If that doesn't work:

2) Look at the "Change Handheld" feature and verify that the PIN in the field is the same as your PIN number.

Sorry, I guess I didn't read your original post carefully enough because I thought that you had said that you resent the service book...

Thanks for the suggestions, I did exactly what you suggested, still had the issues, so broke down and called Technicial support and they did a couple of things and the issue was resolved.

Thanks again for your assistance
