Question POP email taking 10 minutes

Please Login to Remove!

Is it a normal state of affairs for an email to take 10 minutes to get to my new pearl from a Linux pop3 email server? It shows up immediately in my outlook express, but takes almost 10 minutes to get through the BIS system.
I have only had my pearl one day, so I am not sure if this is normal or not.
When I send an email to my Outlook account at work and it goes through my BES, it immediately shows up in my Pearl.
Help, anyone?
Jerry

Default

I apologize - I should have gone further in my search - Asked and answered. Pop3 is polled every 10-15 minutes by design.
Sorry
