Default filter/block PINs on BB handheld?

Please Login to Remove!

I know it's possible for my corporate BES admin to filter/block PIN messaging altogether (mine allows them), but is it possible for me to disable them on my handheld? Or at a minimum, is it possible for me to block PIN messages from a specific PIN (another BB user)?

I have a 7290. Thanks.

No. On 4.2 code there's a firewall within the security that you could disable all PIN incoming messages. Of course this is only Pearl and 8800.

Oh thats bad! This is exactly what I was looking for on my handheld. An option to block incoming PIN from a specific PIN no.

I upgraded my 8700 yesterday to the 4.2 and under firewall settings I have an option to block SMS, PIN and email, I haven't tried it out yet, but do have the option.
