I lost my daughter's Sprint/Nextel phone, so I am giving her mine. and I want to get ME a Blackberry(I think ?) so I can use the day planner, check email, and Ebay stuff (know you guys hate to hear THAT ...anyway, I saw a i7510 for $60. Is this a good one to start on? price? if it is Nextel/Sprint, will it work in any state? it does have a SIM card.....can I get a "book" for it somewhere? Should I just forget the whole thing? I am over 50 and can manage my computer just fine, but not much more technically.........thanks for any help, cause I need it.........OLDladyShopN

The 7510 is a Nextel BlackBerry. For $60 dollars it probably a decent deal. This model is outdated but will still work. You other options with Nextel would be a 7520 or the 7100i. If you get a Sprint BlackBerry your options are 7130e or 8703e. Nextel is very slow when surfing the web. The Sprint device will be MUCH faster if your doing any web browsing.

Remember, please try searching first!

Need a screenshot? ... Like JavaLoader?
Try using BBscreen .....Use JL_Cmder!
or BBScreenShooter!

Agreed, I am looking at other choices beside 7100i - I have had it for a year now, and I really want a model that I can use as a modem for the laptop - The 7100i has been replaced 4 or 5 times, I lost track now - everytime it goes to jvm 102 error - they have to replace it and it takes 2-3 days
