Default Repeated sent messages & filed Gmail messages

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, Blackberry newbie here!

Two very elementary questions here I'm afraid. Love my Blackberry, but has been quite a pain to configure for email. At the moment, it is doing two distinct things with my gmail email account:

1. Repeated sent

It appears to send any old sent message every time it reconciles itself. How am I able to stop this?

2. I can't seem to stop it downloading lots of old gmail messages. Again, how can I ease the flow!

Huge thanks in advance!

Default Thanks, but not quite!

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, but that isn't actually the problem I have! I do want messages forwarded to my BB, just not every message I've ever received!

Thanks for pointing me in that direction though!
