Default Static Mailbox Agent

Please Login to Remove!

Hi !

I have this problem happenning since 2 weeks : in the afternoon and evening only, the BES begins to have informational alerts in the Event Viewer saying that Some Wokers threads have been blocked for X health checks... As well, I have the Blackberry Router Event ID 10000 whith this error description :

[SERVICE_RELAY_SESSION:S626595:00d03308] Service transaction not found. SERVICESESSION_TAG=10068277

I've found that I can assign statically an Agent Mailbox to some users but this is not recommended as it can increase the load on the Exchange Servers. Currently, we have 2 Maibox Agents, and 4 Exchange Servers and about 160 users on the BES.

Has any of you tried assigning Static Mailbox Agents ? Has anyone had the same problem as me ?

Thanks in advance for your answers !

Static mailbox agents are ok ... just don't load up on them. they create new thread pools / mapi sessions, and use up extra resources on the BES.

Are you using MSDE? If so, only 2 dynamic agents are being spawned to govern the amount of connections to the database as MSDE has connection limitations. ... spawing static agents would not be the right thing to do.

Are your Exchange servers on the same LAN as your BES or are they remote?
