Hey guys, I'm new to this whole Blackberry world. I just bought an 8100 and it should be coming in sometime next week. I currently have a V3xx razr and wanted to get another smartphone.

I have the Cingular/ATT Blackberry Personal Max Data plan from when i had my Nokia e62 it allows unlimited email and web and 1500 messages. My question is, what am i going to have to do to setup my new 8100's email. I spoke with the Cingular rep today at the mall and he said that the plan i have WILL support the blackberry's features, i'm just curious as to what i'm going to have to do to get everything to work correctly.

Just curious, it could be as easy as get the phone and follow the instructions when you turn it on. My apologies if it is, i just want to be prepared, that is all.

Yes, it's that easy. You need the mail server, login, and password.
