Default BB not staying connected to EDGE network

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user with a Blackberry that suddenly keeps dropping from EDGE to edge network status and thus he cannot receive email.. He has to keep turning the radio off and back on so it will connect to the EDGE. This is happening in his home area where he is accustomed to having service. This problem coincides with a migration to Exchange 2007. We did have some permission issues that we had to deal with before we could get email flowing through our Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) to all BB users in that office. He is convinced that this problem is related to the Exchange migration. I admit it is very coincidental. Obviously if Exchange or BES is down he won't receive email. But other BB users are receiving emails with no problems. I use a EDGE device and I'm working but I am in another city. How do I best troubleshoot this issue? Thanks, MK

I'm having the same issue with my 8800 from ATT. What part of the country is your guy in that has the issue. I'm wondering if it is a regional issue.

I saw another post in here recently about someone (on AT&T) having the same issue. So it may be something with the carrier.
