Default Outlook synchronization of UNREAD deleted items

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry 8830 and a BES 4.1 server. We do wireless synchonization. In my Outlook 2007, I have a reading pane visible and have it set to NOT mark the message as read unless I "open" the message. This is how I want it. However, if I delete the message from my inbox without "opening" it first (the message goes to my deleted items folder in an UNREAD state), the message will not be deleted on my Blackberry automatically. Apprently the Blackberry keeps the message in the Inbox on the Blackberry if it is in your Outlook Deleted Items folder in an UNREAD state. Is there a way to change this? I'd like for my Blackberry to synchonize my inbox for all messages, whether READ or UNREAD.
