Default BWC filters in 2.x Client

Please Login to Remove!

Hi.

To say the least, I am not an early adopter. I have been holding off on upgrading my BWC from V1.x to V2.

I think I'm ready to take the plunge, but there's one thing that is stopping me. I currently use the Web interface to create filters for messages going to my [email address] account. For example: I created a filter to get rid of known spammers and another to upgrade certain messages to Level 1.

When I upgrade to V2, will I be able to set up these filters from my Blackberry device?

I'm only worried because it appears that the filters that I can see from Mail/Options only apply to messages received on my BES account.

Any thoughts?

Thank You,
BrianG

You can't set the filters from the device. You'll still need to log in to the BIS system to set filters.

Yeah for the foreseeable future you will still need to setup BIS filters on your BIS site. You will require Desktop service books (redirector or BES) to create filters on the device.
