If it's anything like using my Mororola S9 with my BB, you better have a big battery (or charger) on your BB for bluetooth-ing stereo music to it.

i think its going to plug into AC, like other stereo gateways. I have one on my home theater system right now and have no issues with battery life on my device. the gateway plugs into the AC current and uses RCA cables to connect to the amp

I've just noticed that streaming A2DP bluetooth from my BB kills the battery on my BB in no time.

UPDATE

Quote:
It's made a silent (but deadly) entrance into the marketplace over at Tessco, where it's now available for $79. It still works the same—plug in your speakers to the output jack, then stream music wirelessly from your BB. If you had this on Monday, you wouldn't have been so bored during the outage. [Tessco]
