Default Russell Shaw passes - 03-16-2008, 01:22 PM
It's not direct BlackBerry news, but it's our news.

Some of you who used to read 'BBHub' will be familiar with BlackBerry blogger Russell Shaw. After BBHub closed last year Russell moved on to ZDNet where he filled a similar role. Sadly Russell passed this week, aged 60. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Wow; truly sad news. Prayers and best wishes to his family and friends.

I am shocked... I have been an avid reader of bbhub and his latest zdnet page. his was the first I would read in my blackberry section of bookmarks.

I can't believe how fast he is gone. My apologies to his friends and family... It is sad to see someone in our niche pass on.

still can't believe it.
