"An industry first"? Shape Services IM+ has had Jabber support for quite some time, and Google Talk is nothing more than that; a Google operated Jabber server.

I can't seem to find a link for google talk for the bb. :(

I did load Google Local which is really nice.

I believe Shape Services (the IM+ app folks) are selling a Gmail&Gtalk app for BB. Haven't tried it though.

The google talk free version by RIM has not been released yet and wont until the spring.
