Default [12-18-2004] Even Technophobes pick Blackberry

Quote:
I AM normally the last person queuing up for a ticket to ride the technology bandwagon. However, the recent purchase of a new piece of 'techno kit' has already resulted in the complete inability to escape work, and threats of abandonment from my wife.

This new slave driver-cum-marriage wrecker is, of course, a BlackBerry.

Now, in the past I've had the odd gadget. About eight years ago, I bought one of those quite large Psion organisers on the emphatic recommendation of a journalist friend.

He waxed lyrical about how it changed his life, how it organised this and did that blah, blah.

So, I merrily trotted out and parted with my hard-earned to acquire the chunky electronic diary, address book and database in one.
