More feds ditch BlackBerrys - POLITICO.com

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is planning to start the process of ditching Research in Motion’s signature BlackBerry wireless phone largely in favor of the iPhone, the agency’s top tech official told POLITICO.

With the ability to lock down the Iphones, companys and governments can secure the phone.........maybe.

I see no way currently to LOCK down the iphone like you can do with the BES server. There used to be a way to tell if an iphone was jailbroken via Good tech, but that API has been removed from apple iOS.
If anyone has any news that I am unaware of it would be much appreciated.

I don't use Good. I use NotifyMDM and it shows jailbroken status.

Maas360 also shows jailbreak status on iOS devices.
