RIM's PlayBook tablet pulled from US online stores | PCWorld

Anybody have a guess? Funny timing, with all the new tablets coming out soon. Surely RIM will get their phone business back on track before wasting resources on a new tablet.

Given how tiny (less than 1%) Playbook sales have been, even with deep discounts, and new mini iPads coming out, a new Playbook would be a very bad idea. Stick to smart phones. Pray for BB 10.

This is not true. They were not pulled, they simply are sold out.
BlackBerry PlayBook out of stock at major retailers | CrackBerry.com
I think this was a rumor started by a BlackBerry site - probably for page views.

This article also says BB10 is coming out this year, and will be on the new PlayBook.

I believe this is the definition of an epic fail.
