ATLANTA – Cingular and Research In Motion, the developer of the BlackBerry, have joined forces to launch a mobile telephone and wireless device that will operate across international markets.
The so-called Quad-Band is the BlackBerry 7290. It includes Bluetooth technology for wireless access to mobile headsets and other devices.
The device is an exclusive offering from Cingular in the US. It offers voice, email, short messaging services, an organizer, web browsing, and access to corporate network capabilities.
