Default Tilt BBC and wav file voicemails - 10-17-2007, 10:15 AM

Is it possible to get Unity style voicemails to play on a Tilt with BBC4? It didn't work with our standard codec, we set up a test with GSM6.10 and that plays on standard Windows Mobile 5 units, but does not play on the Tilt, which is the only WM6 unit I know of in the office. Any options would be appreciated.

I'm trying TCPMP to see if that works. The odd part is that I can get it to work in WM5 with no extra software if I switch to GSM 6.10, but it's like they took support out in WM6.

To add to the problem, if the user saves the wav file to the Tilt's My documents folder and opens it with Media Player, it works fine. It just fails in the e-mail itself.

This is the final answer, not possible. Blackberry Connect 4 cannot play any wav file (probably any media file) at all. It must be saved then played. Why they allow you to open word and pdf docs with no problem but not wav, I don't know but RIM says this is the way it is.
