I received in one minute 50 messages like this :

From :network@.....blackberry.net
Subject: RIM_bca......


This message is used to carry data between the Blackberry handheld and an associated server. Please don't delete, mover or respond. to this message.

Are you using the Redirector? Or BES,BIS? If you are using BES/BIS then you need to delete the Desktop Service Books

Menu>options>Advance Options>Service Books

Select and delete all service books entitled "Desktop[cxxxx]"

If you are using the Redirector they are normal. If you are getting them in excess your encryption key might be out of date and you need to connect to the PC running redirector and generate a new one.

Default I hope to GOD (RIM?) this works - 01-09-2008, 07:26 PM

I have tried everything, installed, uninstalled, wiped,booted and smacked just about everything to get this stupid 8800 to work right. The first issue is that my keeps getting these messages from the network...please please please work!
