Default No IP on SoftBank X01HT with BBC 4.0.0.84 - 11-24-2007, 01:31 AM

Hi there.

I'm not getting an ip address assigned from my provider (Rogers) for my SoftBank X01HT (aka HTC TYTN).

Installed on my WM6 phone:
* Windows Mobile 6 - CE OS 5.2.1933 (Build 18533.0.7.0)
* ROM Version: Schap's 4.01
* ROM Date: 10/03/07
* Radio Version: 1.48.00.10

BlackBerry Connect
* Version: 4.0.0.84
* Transport: 4.0.086
* System Version: 65.150.24.93

PIN: 69117DB6

When I was using WM5 - I noticed I had a different PIN#.

What do I need to do to change it back to my old PIN#?

I do have a BlackBerry Connect Plan enabled with my subscription.

Any help is appreciated!

I think that PIN thing goes the other way. You wont change your PIN back to the old one, I would think you make sure that your new PIN is registered with your Providor and BlackBerry Connect. Its the same device (and thus IMEI), correct?

What's changed is new operating system (WM6) and new version of BBConnect on the same phone. Same IMEI but new PIN.

Try a different version, like 4.0.0.90 or 91, see sems.org | Blackberry Connect 4.0 Downloads for downloads.

In general Blackberry Connect 4.0 on WM is a hit and miss, it is dependant on ROM version, device and carrier.
