Default Not able to send emails?? - 12-15-2007, 12:13 PM

Hello,

Can someone help out with this please-it's driving me crazy

I was a ATT Tilt with Blackberry connect and cannot send emails. The unit says that an email is sent, but no luck. I've tried to respond to an incoming email, nothing. I've tried new emails, nothing. On my computer nothing is shown in the sent box. I do get incoming emails.

I'm on a corporate Blackberry server.

Thanks for the help!

This is for a Tilt, right, and not a Blackberry specifically? The reason I am asking is if it is for a Tilt, I will move this to the BlackBerry on Non RIM Hardware section where it could get some more views.

Have you verified that the BB Connect app status is listed as Connected? Windows Mobile will only support one wireless network connection at a time, so if you have any apps running that want to make connections over Media Net the BB Connect app will get disconnected. However, once the Media Net connection is closed BB Connect should try to reconnect to its network within a few seconds or so.

Yes, the program is connected. The funny thing also is I get a green check next to the email expressing that the email was sent o.k.. I'm having the company IT guys check on this, but at the first level tech support, he thinks it a function of my device.

Any thoughts?

In the BBConnect software on the tilt under email settings>general, there's a check box that says "Don't save a copy to the Sent Items folder." Did this get checked somehow?
