Default P910a on T-Mobile: Works Great But A Few Issues - 07-08-2005, 09:20 AM

I have been using a P910a on T-Mobile for the last month or so here in Detroit. My company has BES and I also use webmail. Both seem to work fine but I am having one problem. Whenever I send a BES email from my desktop it shows up as a new unread email on my phone. So every 15 minutes or so I go into my phone, open the "sent box" and mark all emails as read.

Anyone know of a way to either

1. Not have email sent from my Desktop show up as unread items in my sent box.

or

2. Not have email sent from my Desktop sent to my handheld.

Anyone know of a way to fix this? I have looked on both the Blackberry Connect software and the Sony Blackberry Desktop Manager.

Which BES server version do you have? My company uses 4.x. I'm about to buy P910i for t-mobile and want to know if I have a chance of setting this up. Also you said that you are using Sony Blackberry Desktop Manager, did that come with the phone? I found Blackberry Connect Software for P910 but did not see Desktop manager. Thanks in advance,

Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but is there a general link on how to get the p910i working as a blackberry connected device on BES?

Do you need to run local Sony bb software, to generate the equivalient of a bberry PIN or will the blackberry desktop manager immediately recognize the sony device?
