Default SK65 Application Loader - 07-18-2005, 09:33 AM

Hi there, I hope someone can help me

I've recently changed my 7100V BBerry to a Siemens SK65 and with the Siemens Desktop Manager there's no option to load applications.

I'm only looking to install Verichat onto my SK65, however, despite searching around, I'm coming up a blank on how to do it - I dont have any cables other than those which came in the box.

Can anyone help please?

Thank you
Peter

Install the regular BlackBerry Desktop Software 4.0.1 on your computer. Do not delete the Siemens software. Then makew sure your phone is on the BlackBerry screen and start the regular desktop software. After a few seconds of seaching , it will find the SK65 and you're good to go.

Let me know about Verichat, as I was not able to get it to work on my SK65.

Can I ask you as to whether you'll be using it with BWC or BES? Just wondering as I still can't get my browser to work using BWC

Thanks, that did the job. I installed:

"VeriChat v2.35b (for devices with Blackberry OS 3.7 or less)" and it worked a charm.

We're using BES, all is fine.

Thqanks for the answer. With the BES service, have you been able to use the BB Browser?

I'm using Vodafone and yep, it works fines through BES.

I did have to use "VeriChat v2.35b (for devices with Blackberry OS 3.7 or less)" as the other version didn't work (or even install come to think of it)

Cheers
