Default Activation Problem - BlackBerry Connect on P1i - 05-06-2008, 09:00 PM

Hi all,

I am currently in the process of Activating my BES with my P1i (BlackBerry Connect v 4.82) and have some problems with the activation. Could someone help me out please!

I already passed the Step 1 (Activating) and Step 2 (Service books) but it has been sucked with the Step 3 (Synchronising) for more than 6 hours now. In the meantime, I can still receive/send email thru my P1i though but I just feel bad for not completing the entire activation process.

Could someone shed some light please? What went wrong?

Thanks in advance!

are you using wireless activation?

perhaps the network signal strength in your area is weak and that you have a lot of contacts and calendar appointments that needed to be synced across?

Thanks for the reply.

Actually, I was checking the signal strength and it was pretty good. I only have a limited no. of contacts and they are all sync with the phone/Notes already. However, the screen still stated 'sync.....' STRANGE....
