Default HTC Touch Diamond and BlackBerry Connect - 06-01-2008, 09:54 PM

Does anyone know if BlackBerry Connect will work on the latest HTC Touch Diamond? Or, does anyone have experience of using BlackBerry Connect in other HTC models?

I imagine it will, because the diamon will use windows pro 6.1, and BB connect works on that. But it's more of a carrier issue if they want to support it. To be able to install it? No problem, just install it, but having your service provider allow it, now thats a different issue.

You can run into out of plan data issues when you use a Blackberry Connect device on a Blackberry only plan, but I've never had a problem activating such a device. I have an ATT Tilt running on TMobile with a Blackberry Connect. I had a Nokia E61 running on ATT with Blackberry Connect.

Default PIN on BB Desk Top - 09-23-2008, 12:14 AM

I have a BB server service via singtel
Currently, I use 8300
I want to use HTC Dimaond (temporary)
I installed the software in which is BB connect 4.0.0.100 in my diamond
I insert the sim using in 8300 into Diamond
I notice that the PIN in Desk Top and Pin in my Diamond is difference.
I think that this is the reason that I could not sync
Is there anyway that I could change PIN on my Diamond, rather than talking to Operator to change the PIN for me.
Thanks

it shouldn't be a difference PIN and i think that your desktop still retrieving the PIN from old device???
My recommendation: update your desktop mgr. like 4.5 which can be d/l from RIM website.

Thx
