Default Blackberry Connect v.6.31.1_1 on Nokia 9300 and v.8.14.0 on E61i - 06-09-2008, 09:27 AM

I am facing an issue in viewing a .JPG image on both versions of Blackberry connect on the Nokia 9300 and E61i.

The documentation on v.6.31.1_1 clearly mentions that .jpg images cannot be viewed in this version of Blackberry connect. If that is the case, how does one download the image on the device and view it using the default image viewer on the phone?

The documentation on v.8.14.0 mentions that the image can be viewed from within Blackberry. However when I try and view the image, it displays an hour glass and nothing happens after that. What could be the issue?

The firmware and blackberry connect software is exactly as per documentation mentioned in the businesssoftware.nokia.com website

All other supported attachments can be opened without any difficulty.

Both these devices have BES accounts configured on them.

Any suggestions is most welcome.

Did you install the BlackBerry Connect client from http://businesssoftware.nokia.com that was designated for your device firmware?

You are correct. I totally forgot this limitation. A list of the supported attachment types is listed at KB04759 at BTSC.
