Default E90 and Blackberry mobile data service - 07-15-2008, 09:42 AM

Sorry for another E90 thread but we are currently trying out a couple of Nokia E90's.

We currently have a BES running with exchange and over 50 Blackberry Devices and the MDS works fine on them but when I try to run it on the E90 it comes up with a gateway error message. Now a couple of years ago I managed to get a xda running with BBC and it had access to the MDS. While the E90 runs BBC fine with emails and calender etc.... I cant seem to access the MDS. Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated.

One more thing is it possible to save attachments from your blackberry emails onto the E90's memory?

Thanks

Mic P

i am using e90 with BES and AT&T. i personally use desktop activation (vs OTA) only because i don't have an OTA password. anyway, it does work like BBC is supposed to work.

as far as i know, no - it is not possible to download or save attachements with BBC and BES. alternatively, you can foward the email to a POP or IMAP account on the phone and get it from there, but thats a hassle too.
