You have to pause BB service and switch to T-Zones GPRS.

Has anyone been able to do the Internet browsing if they are on a BES?

As far as I know, currently the BB connect enabled devices do not allow Internet browsing via bb apn. Meaning, even if you are on BES the only difference from BIS is the emails routing path. It won't provide you a pipe to Intranet or Internet even if your MDS allows it.
