Default Loading Bb Apps On Ot Sk65 - 09-12-2005, 06:08 PM

Hi All,

Is it possible to load the .cod files etc on to an SK65 or am i stuck with java?

if it is possible how do i go about it please.

I want ot try out some of the remote desktop and im apps

You should be able to load .cod files onto your device using the JavaLoader utility that comes with Blackberry's JDE (I think it's also possible to use the Desktop Manager that comes with the JDE but I can't get this to work on my system).

Assuming you have the device connected to your computer via the USB cable, open a command prompt and navigate to the directory where JavaLoader is stored (on my system this is C:\Programs\RIM\BlackBerryJDE4.0.2\bin). The syntax is something like

JavaLoader.exe -usb load <file.cod>

where <file.cod> is the name of the file you're uploading.
