Default BB on T-mobile MDA (HTC Wizard)? - 02-02-2006, 11:39 AM

BB is not going to be supported on the upcoming T-Mobile MDA is US. Even though UK and Germany T-mobile divisions support it. Wonder why. Is there a download that can be put on the MDA to get BB?

There was a french ROM leaked that some QTek 9100 and K-Jam users are downloading that has the AKU profile which allows push email thru exchange SP 2.

It was communicated that the Blackberry Connect software for the Wizard and Universal will be released by the providers at the Cebit fair in Germany (9th to 15th March).

According to Vodafone some small bugs are still delaying the rollout. Current timeframe is about four weeks from now.
I did also see some printouts from RIM regarding Blackberry Connect for Windows Mobile 5 devices like the HTC Universal or Wizard.

Good news, Tmobile just released the software. Word is that it's locale aware and installs in english. Someone please try on Tmobile and let me know if it works. I am hoping to replace my 9300 with this..... Here is the link https://after-sales-service.t-mobile..._mda_vario.htm

Has anyone tried to install and use this client on either on T-mobile or Cingular Wizard?

I had this same problem when I tried this on an xDA III. Looked like the blackberry.net apn was pointing to a different ip address then the one on my blackberry. I even hexedited the app to point to a different apn, but did not work. Oh well...

in my case,

The server on both Qtek 9000 and SE P910i are within the same subnet of 206.51.26.x. Port numbers are different.

installation was smooth, but connections always seem to be blocked after initial registration.

oh well, guess have to wait some more. At least the software is really being made available.
