Does anybody know how to change the preferences for Yahoo IM? I want it to stop vibrating and playing a sound when a new IM is received.

Likely in your handheld Profiles settings...

i've checked all of the settings.. nothing about IM. there are options, but it has nothing to do with the notifications.

I have the same problem with AIM. I tried switching stuff in the profile and still only vibrates.

Default my notification is vibe and a noise - 03-09-2006, 03:20 PM
My yahoo notification is a vibration and a tone that isn't even on my phone that i can see. I'd like to t be SILENT
