Default Nokia 9300 on BES 4 sending mail but NOT receiving - 03-09-2006, 03:35 AM

Hi,

I've been setting up a nokia 9300 with the Blackberry software from the Nokia site but I've been having problems getting it to work properly. I'm trying to get it to work with a BES 4 server connected to a Domino 6 server, and we're using Vodafone for the phone network. I've got as far syncing the calendar through the Blackberry Connect software that runs on the PC, and the nokia will now send emails, but it won't receive them.

I'm setting this phone up for one of the managers (I'm in the IT department) and my other colleagues who have set the server up, are confused as to what’s wrong too. They have managed to get the same model phone to work fine using the same instructions I’m working from. They did suggest that it might have something to do with the SIM card, but at the moment vodafone seem to think the SIM card is set up fine. Is this a likely cause? Does anyone have any other ideas?

Cheers,

Johnny.

check ROM version and if correct, try resintalling BB connect.

happen to one of my users' 9300 too. Called Nokia tech support, they also gave up & swap a set.
