Default BBC from Nokia - 07-01-2007, 07:40 AM

Hi there,

am not sure whether the BBC client does exist for the E90... What I would suggest however is to check the following Nokai web site. If it does exist it should be on there.

http://businesssoftware.nokia.com/

Where did you get yours from? I am thinking about getting one. I had a 9300 before and currently using at HTC Vox. How do you like it so far?

I'm using BB connect on an E90. The OTA Enterprise Activation worked fine with my corporate BES.

Not much to report. It works. I have this config running on T-mobile USA.

Nice. I get Blackberry service together with wifi, a decent camera, gps, opera mobile, etc.

is it true that the contact lookup is only feasible within address book and not in the address field of a new email or sms?

No. This is untrue. You can press the Options button and choose an email address from your contacts within the address field. I hope that's what you mean.

No. I'm refering to remote contact lookup (checking the company's email server address list). I read that it could only be done at the phone's address book and not possible at compose email / sms / mms.

I've got BlackBerry Connect working with my E90, connected to an Exchange mailbox using BES. It's outsourced from ExchangeMyMail.com. When I press the [Options] key whilst on the "To:" line of a new email, there are both "Add from Contacts" (the internal address book in the phone, synced from the Exchange server in my case) and "Company directory" options on the menu. There is also a "Lookup" option in the BlackBerry folder when BlackBerry Connect is installed. Unfortunately I've not managed to find any other users on our Exchange server via either but that's not to say it doesn't work for others! I might not be doing something correctly or something might not be configured correctly with our Exchange setup. Any ideas, let me know. :D

Exclamation Nokia E90 BlackBerry Connect 4.0 and wi-fi - 08-27-2007, 01:19 AM

Hi All ,

with Nokia E90 BlackBerry Connect 4.0 our BlackBerry Enterprise Server
(BES) users can get their emails. Is it possible use wi-fi as carrier
instead of gprs like blackberry 8820?

network also specific access point name (apn:blackberry.net) but 8120 and 8820 (both has wi-fi) and I knew that VPN option is normally built in the SW. And if you are member of bes/bis and even Mobile Connection (ex:GSM) is OFF you still continue to receive your mails. For mail we are using Microsoft Exchange.

What are the set-up for this on E90?

Default E90 in US - 11-14-2007, 09:25 PM

So you've got an E90 with a BB plan from T-Mobile? How did you do it? I have an E90 and can't get a BB plan for it from T-Mobile or AT&T ... I have the E90 and BBC software but no service :(

Does anyone know if the other apps installed on the e90 are going to use the BIS access point when BB connect is installed? Or is the e90 capable of using two access points at the same time (e.g. one for BB connect in the background and normal gprs for everything else)?

I'm asking because my BB plan only includes 5mb of traffic while my general gprs plan has 1.5gb per month
