Smile Free theme - Flat Today

Please Login to Remove!

I've made some changes to my earlier Console Today theme: using some smoother fonts and toning down the green a tad ;) , but still focusing on maximum visibility in a dark theme. Still using my own icon overlay, network activity indicators, and greyed-out stock graphics.

Enjoy.

Nice theme. One thing I noticed was on the 8320 the WiFi indicator overlaps the EDGE indicator.

I'll try and fire up a simulator and figure that out (I have an 8800) - but I don't know that the current version of Plazmic will allow me to modify the WiFi indicator...

I can add the Tasks item to the Today screen, but it will not show any Task items under it like the Calendar and Messages do.

Are you looking for just another icon on the Today screen? If so, do you want it to replace one of the others?

Or are you looking for the Tasks with subentries, like I described? Let me know and I'll fire up the Theme Builder...

Thanks for answering. It would be nice to have some items show up too, but just the icon would also be helpful.

Here's a modified theme, with Tasks on the Today screen instead of Manage Connections.

Can you make this theme with SMS and Browser as the bottom two options instead of the two that you have there? This would then be my perfect dream theme!!!!

Wirelessly posted (8800)

My attachments were lost, I think with the last forum crash a few weeks ago. I'll reload them later this weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re-uploaded the theme files - all should be working again.

I installed this theme. Must say looks wicked. But only thing i notice is that, my bb msger icon is not showing up. Everything else is fine. There is a blank space there and if i select it, will take me to bb msger. Is there a fix around it?

Well that certainly is strange.

Let me take a look and report back.

Add little bit more info. I'm running OS 4.3 on my curve. Not sure if this makes a big difference. To give you a better understanding of what i'm talking about. I included attachment of the screen. Only differenece is i don't see my messenger word and icon. Instead area is shown blank. I can highlight that area and press enter key and would take me to bb msger list. But everything else is working properly. Hopefully this is more clear enough of what i'm talking about.

I'm thinking it must be an issue with the 4.3 OS. These themes are compiled for 4.2.1 (for the 8800) and 4.2.2 (for the 8300). That's all I can do with Plazmic's Theme Builder right now. I expect the next version of PTB will have better functionality with newer device OS versions (of course).

Are you seeing similar issues as noted above where the WiFi icon is overlapped by the network info? Just curious to know whether that issue shows up on your Curve, too. I only have an 8800 for actual tests before I release.

No, 8830 curve doesn't have WiFi icon. Nothing on here (my phone) is overlapping by anything. Excellent theme though. Thanks.
