SMS Messages staying on Today theme I searched and I have not seen any other threads about this. I have a Curve with Verizon and run a Today Theme that i bought. When I get a text message, I open it, read it, reply and it still stays on the main screen under messages. Normally only new messages are supposed to pop up there. When i pull the battery, it clears there, but then happens again. Any ideas? |
It could be keeping it so that you can refer back to it. But I'm not sure what the deal would be with that. If anybody else has any ideas please post cause I tried it to an it had the same thing. |
I have seen this with my 8830 as well. They way I could get the condition to reproduce itself would be to send an SMS message while the phone is locked and almost immediately after the device received it, unlock the phone. The message would open and display and that subject would be displayed in the Today theme until a battery pull. This happened with multiple Today themes, so I suspect on OS bug versuss a theme bug. |
SMS Messages remain visible in the Today Theme as new I have this happening also... I noticed the thread is getting old so wanted to revive it. Anyone found a resolution to this yet? I have the Curve. |
Ive been running a messages theme, when I read any incoming message or even open the messages folder the unread messages disappear from my HomeScreen.. On rare occasions it has remained on the home screen but I beleive it's a bug an battery pull will fix it. No fix.. It's only happened to me once, in about the whole time I've been running a messages theme. (Over a month now) |
Yeah, I have the same problem, its very annoying. I find that if you go back and mark the message as unread, go to the home screen and then go read the message again it will go away though. Thats a lot less annoying than reseting every time |

Left Alt+Right Cap+Delete also reboots your phone.. I find that quicker then running to QuickPull :) |
