Default Problem Downloading Themes

Please Login to Remove!

I am experiencing a problem whenever i try to down load themes onto my BB. I have a Curve 8330 with an 8G media card. The process i follow is this...

- I download the OTA theme onto my desktop (usually a .jad file)
- I transfer via Desktop Manager onto the media card in my BB
- I open the file, and click download. It tries to download, but returns a message "907 Invalid COD File not found"

Am i doing something wrong? I am running v 4.3

Thanks

Welcome to the forums!

The .jad Over The Air files are designed to download directly to your device without using Desktop Manager. Try accessing the site where you found your themes from your BlackBerry directly and follwing the download steps.

Just make sure you use the BlackBerry browser and not a 3rd party browser like Bolt/Opera Mini.

I believe if you click on an OTA link from Opera Mini, it opens up the Blackberry browser to download it. It happened this way for me.

Alright, I'm throwing it out there because Opera Mini can download files directly to your BlackBerry/Media like pics/music/etc
