How hard is it to make themes for the 8900?

I've never made themes for anything before -- that being said, is it realistic that I'd be able to design one for my 8900? I wouldn't so much care about the icons, I'd probably just use the default ones, but changing menu colors, locations of icons, things like that.. how hard is that? Is there any programming involved? I'm downloading the newest version of Plazmic, this is what I need, correct? I read some topics about making themes and searched but couldn't find anything to really give me an idea of how hard it is. Thanks.

First of all, remember that what you are downloading is a BETA version of Plazmic and that there will be bugs involved with making themes.

But making themes is quite easy.

Yep, I realized it was a beta. And you're absolutely right, this is much easier than I imagined. It seems the hardest part to making themes would be the graphics. Makes me wish I was versed in Photoshop, I could make some cash in my spare time making themes, lol.

I make a Zen/Today hybrid with my SMS as my only Zen icon with 4 subentries so I can see my 4 most recent texts at the top of the screen and have my usual 5 icons at the bottom. It's perfect for my use. I can't wait to play with this some more tomorrow to see what I can come up with. I did have an issue uploading any of the themes I made to my phone, my phone rebooted itself each and every time.
