Anyone kow how I go about getting the zen theme that puts the icons along the bottom. My 831o doesnt seem to have this.

Look for a Custom Theme that use the bottom dock.

ZEN themes are themes with icons along the side, you are looking for whats called bottom dock themes as Motorcycle Mama stated above
