Default Phantom Themes On My Curve 8900 Leave Me Perplexed.

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings Blackberry aficionados,

I've got an interesting issue with my brand new blackberry Curve 8900 and it's left me fully flummoxed. I've successfully download themes to my device, and even though it says it's installed properly it still doesn't show up in the "Themes" options. Any suggestions? (My Tmo 8900 is running on 4.6.114.)

Are the themes for the 8900? Have you tried a battery pull?

The battery pull has not rectified the situation, and they are "allegedly" themes for the 8900 curve, by means of => Latest eVeek Custom Themes - eVeek | The Free Blackberry Download Community

Have you checked for them in Options>Advanced Options>Applications? If they are there, try the battery pull again, sometimes it takes more than once.

If they are not there, try reinstalling them.

The reinstall of the theme did no good sir, nor did repeated battery pulls. Whats the next step?

I haven't read this thread, but it's a sticky and sounds like it might be helpful:

Default Themes

The reason the theme does not work is because it is not compatible with the 8900. I had the same problem and i looked all over the web for a resolution. And the answer was simple on every post that i read. It is not compatible.
