Smile Theme downloading problems

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know what I do if I found a theme I want, saved it to my computer, go to the Desktop Manager, then application loader, select the file then next and then a window pops up saying something about no additional applications are available for my device?! It wont even let me add the theme, it's the right type of file too? and also is anyone familiar with the Plazmic theme creator? if the phone is a 8100 and the software is v4.2 you'd have to download the v4.2 theme creator software, but it's not available for windows vista?! anyone know how i can get a theme creator software for my 8100!?!

Wirelessly posted (My Bold)

Do you have jar/jad files or alx/cod files?

I've had success with .jar files using the media manager through the desktop software. I made an extra folder on my memory card called downloads, then I connect it to the computer, open the software and use the media manager and browse to my jar file. I upload that into the downloads folder and exit the software once it's done.

Then I explore my card on the phone and select the jar file and the download prompt opens up like it would if you were doing an OTA download. Much easier then trying to convert a .jar to an .alx.
