why do I need to click a button and launch Quicklaunch in order to get a list of apps to go onscreen ? Why not have a theme that has the apps listed rather than icons ? Seems like a good idea to me!
for example, instead of a left side dock with icons, make it just a list of functions. seems old fashioned I know but I bet it would appeal to those of us that would prefer clicking once rather than twice for an appl.

I guess I just like the idea of having words rather than icons to launch an application, and have those on the home screen. I just installed Quicklaunch and all it does is basically provide a list after you press a convenience key. Why not just have that customizable list already on the theme screen?

I guess most people prefer icons, as do I. I would think it would look very messy on the home screen with app names instead of icons. To each his own.....

most icon screens actually show the name of the app after the icon is selected, but there is a time delay too. If there was no need to have the words that would not be necessary. why waste time putting the cursor on the icon and then waiting for the word display?
It indicates that the icons need to be identified . At least have the words already on the icon so there is no need to rollover it to see what it is.

I don't need the words. I can instantly identify any app on my bb by the icon. Isn't that the point of icons? You still a DOS user too?
