Question 8330 -- Downloading Themes (jad) ????

Please Login to Remove!

How come when I download OTA 8330 themes (jad) from Free Blackberry Themes Games Videos Applications MP3 Ringtones Forum & Accessories or from any other site that downloads these files to your computer so you can email them to the BB 8330, the downloads always fail and won't download? But, when you purchase themes (jad) from Sprint's Digital Lounge or from Handmark | Software for your Palm, Blackberry, Pocket PC, Treo, PDA and Windows Mobile Smartphone Devices the themes download perfectly into the BB 8330?

Just to make sure:

Themes that are jad need to be downloaded through your devices browser. Don't download the jad file to your computer, then email the file and open on your BB. They need to be downloaded via the carrier browser (since I'm on ATT, my browser is MEdia Net, etc.).

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)

Jar and jad files are meant to be downloaded and installed OTA (over-the-air). I assume since you have an 8330, you should also have a data plan so this isn't likely to be a problem for you.

Okay, got it. SO in other words somehow I would have to have these files sent to my BB using the browser to do so..

Thanks!

Yes. I just copy the link and email it to myself on an account that I have on my device. Then just click the link from the device and it starts to download. It's pretty simple.
