| I'm using the "Cingular" theme for now. Easiest on the eyes...wish I could move the "Memo" app out of the applications folder and put it on the main screen... | | Offline

Most should work. I don't have mine yet, but I will update this list when I do. | | Offline

| Boy, I agree with trstack. I would LOVE to move Memo from apps folder to main screen. I read through the 7200 notes and found nothing...most likely since the folder WAS on the 7290 home screen.
Please...someone...there must be a way!
Thanks. | | Offline

Since I use the MemoPad app quite a bit, I've assigned the left side key to launch the memopad application. Now that I'm writing this I'm thinking I may put the centre button to memopad and side button to internet shortcuts. | | Offline

| You can customize the left side key and centre button? I guess the guy I spoke to in the store didn't know his stuff. He said the buttons were pre programmed and couldn't be changed. How do you customize the left key and centre button? I am so impatient I want the 8700 now but I am going to have to be patient as hard as that is. | | Offline

| Just switched to BB Insight Icon.
By doing that, I could put both Memo and AskMeNow icons on home page. | | Offline

I am using a theme I created while waiting for my handset to arrive. But as usual I got too complicated on the first try and it's a little hard to read. I used too fancy a script for most of the text items and am now trying to get it corrected.

| BB Insight - Icon. Played with them all. This is the most usable for me. I miss having a dedicated Compose icon, but I'll deal with it. | | Offline

| Well, if you look on the background images thread for the 8700 you'll notice I posted a "Star Wars Clone Trooper" that was formatted to fit the 320x240 screen. I originally was going to use the Cingular Theme but then when I discovered you could change the themes easily I went with the "BB Dimension-List" Simply because the white and blue go VERY well with the Clone Trooper, and the list gets all the ugly icons out of the way so I can see the Clone Trooper Better Check it out!

| I'm using the Cingular theme; I like the minimalist look. I am looking forward to them putting out more options, though. If you use the wheel you can get a "download themes" menu, but it's still not ready.

If your a minimalist, then simply forego the icons and use the list! It's very clean, and I think it's better suited for quick access to the programs I use.
